Gathered with some friends and got a nice sweet 'kick' of what Greece has to offer. This summer will remain unforgettable.

Greek tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas has published a video of his vacations during the Greek summer.

In the description of the video, Tsitsipas wrote to his 185,000 YouTube subscribers: “Gathered with some friends and got a nice sweet ‘kick’ of what Greece has to offer. This summer will remain unforgettable.

“It was packed with great adventures, and dreamy nights stargazing, chatting and looking at SpaceX’s satellite fly over the Ionian Sea. A crystal clear night. Quiet. Fully immersed into the present. So much, that you feel that nothing else matters.

“Extremely grateful to observe and experience things on a different scale.”

Meanwhile, Tsitsipas’ mother Julia Apostoli felt Nick Kyrgios tried to draw the Greek into playing “a dirty tennis” but her son didn’t know how to play that game. In the Wimbledon third round, Tsitsipas met Kyrgios.

After winning the first set, Tsitsipas lost the following three sets as Kyrgios escaped with a 6-7 (2) 6-4 6-3 7-6 (7). The match was high on tension as Tsitsipas complained about Kyrgios’ behavior several times. Kyrgios clearly got into Tsitsipas’ head and many felt that was the key to his victory.

After the match, Tsitsipas described Kyrgios as “an evil bully.” “The only person who confuses Stefanos is Nick Kyrgios,” Apostoli said according to the Greek City Times. “He is the only one who brings him out of himself, In the Wimbledon match, Kyrgios decided to ignore the general rules of sports.

The match became very strange and nervous because he was playing ‘dirty’ tennis. Stefanos doesn’t play like that. He completely lost his temper due to the behaviour of his opponent and lost the match without being any worse on the court”.

Tsitsipas has also had his moments with Daniil Medvedev on the court. But his mother feels there is no any ill will between her son and Medvedev. When it comes to Kyrgios, Julia suggests the Australian knows how to get into her son’s head.

“I don’t think there’s anything special. Daniil is such a person by nature: if he doesn’t like something, he won’t keep it in himself for a long time. He expresses his opinion on many things. Styopa is more of an introvert, although it’s hard to tell from him.

He had to become an extrovert by virtue of his profession. He has no such negative feelings towards anyone. The only person, perhaps, who brings him into a state of complete confusion is Nick Kyrgios,” Apostoli added.

After Tsitsipas described Kyrgios as an evil bully, the Greek-Australian responded by calling him “soft.”
