“My name is Eftihia” tells the story of the life of Greece’s greatest female lyricist, Eftihia Papagiannopoulou. Born in Smyrna, she travelled from Smyrna to Greece and went on to pen a massive volume of timeless popular songs which was set to music by Tsitsanis, Kaldaras, Ηiotis, and Hadjidakis, among others. Whilst her name means happiness, she had a troubled life but one that she lived on her own terms.
