Maria Sakkari received a marriage proposal during a match in New York.

The Greek tennis player who is in the “Big Apple” to play on Monday at the US Open was playing an exhibition match with Stefanos Tsitsipas and at some point a voice was heard from the platform.

A fan was asking her to marry him! Maria smiled and answered him that she has a boyfriend.

Maria Sakkari, who is ranked No. 3 in the world last year, reached the semi-finals of the US Open and wants to achieve something great in 2022 at the last Grand Slam of the year.
