An amendment setting out conditions for drafting ballot combinations of individual candidates or party coalitions running in national elections that excludes candidates who have been sentenced for serious crimes was tabled in Greek Parliament by the Interior ministry on Thursday.
Turkish media have taken aim at Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the head of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (GEETHA) Konstantinos Floros, accusing Greece of arming itself because it is preparing for war.
"There is communication. There are contacts, as I wrote recently. A negotiation is very difficult, but it is not impossible," she continued.
Since the start of the war in Ukraine, Greece, traditionally a net energy importer, has become a net exporter of natural gas. In the last six months, its natural gas exports have more than tripled compared to 2021.
In a press conference, the health minister said, “I understand parents’ concerns, and what I am saying is that there is full availability of medication – not necessarily original drugs, but generic ones with the same therapeutic value.”
In reply to an Ot.gr question on Tuesday, Greek Energy and Environment Minister Kostas Skrekas confirmed that such talks are underway over a specific investment plan.
