Greece’s booming tourism is reaching visitors from around the world, so much so that it’s a top 10 destination for long-haul travellers whose flights are more than six hours long.
Tourism Minister Vassilis Kikilias said that "in 2023 we will continue to work for the further extension of the tourism season with aim Greece to attract travellers throughout the year".
Kikilias underlined the importance of the agreement with 11 airlines for flights between November and March, noting that the extension of the tourist season has already been implemented.
