Three Greek citizens, who for the last few days were volunteering in the earthquake-affected town of Armutlu in southeastern Turkey, were apprehended by the Turkish Anti-Terrorism Service.
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Thursday spoke of agreements that “change the energy map of Southeast Europe” in joint statements with the President of Bulgaria, Ruben Radev, in Athens after the signing of two memoranda on energy infrastructure with the neighboring country. According to the prime minister, these agreements (which may include the possible construction of an Alexandroupolis-Burgas pipeline) will make the two countries energy providers in the European Union and will contribute to Europe’s energy security.
National elections will be held in the spring, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis reiterated in an interview to national broadcaster ERT on Thursday evening, adding that he does not wish to prolong the current toxic campaign period.

Greek society is threatened by hundreds of thousands of home auctions, "as a result of choices by the government of [Prime Minister Kyriakos] Mitsotakis," SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance leader Alexis Tsipras said in a televised address broadcast on Friday.
