Massive strike will keep ships docked on Wednesday and Thursday in all ports of Greece

Ships will remain docked on Wednesday and Thursday in all the ports of Greece because of a 48-hour strike that was announced by the Panhellenic Maritime Federation (PNO). They are demanding the drafting and signing of new collective labour agreements for 2023.

The Panhellenic Union of Tugboat Crews is also participating in the PNO’s mobilisations, announcing rolling 48-hour strikes from 6:00 on Friday morning.

The sailors’ strike will start at 6:00 on Wednesday (8/2) and end at 6:00 on Friday (10/2).

The seamen’s unions are expected to hold a strike rally on Wednesday at 11:00, at the BlueStar ships, opposite the old Piraeus metro station.
