Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will meet Intel CEO Patrick Gelsinger in Davos as the well-known company considers investing in Greece.
The executives have reportedly already contacted the Digital Governance Ministry and now the sequel will be given in the Swiss Alps. According to some information, the company is interested in expanding into the areas of software and cybersecurity, and these are the areas in which it will discuss investments to Greece. It should be noted that the Prime Minister will have a busy schedule of meetings during the World Economic Forum, mainly with investors and businessmen.
Among others, Mr. Mitsotakis will meet with Singapore-based investment fund GIC, which has invested in Sani Resort and may be interested in expanding elsewhere, as well as Philip Hildebrand, vice president of BlackRock.
Finance Minister Christos Staikouras is also in Davos from today to take part in the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum. Mr. Staikouras will meet senior executives from large companies and investment houses such as Visa, Cisco and Goldman Sachs. He will also meet with Saudi Arabian Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan and make a presentation on Economic Policy in Times of Multilevel Crises.
