Iran agrees to let two Greek tankers go

The agreement concerns Greek-flagged ships Delta Poseidon and Prudent Warrior

Developments on the front of the two tankers that have been held by the Iranian authorities for months now and the Lana tanker that was anchored in Piraeus are fast-paced.

According to information, an agreement has been reached for the departure of the two Greek-flagged tankers from Iran and the Lana from Greece.

According site marine traffic, the Lana has already left its anchorage in Piraeus.

The Ministry of Shipping has not officially confirmed anything concerning an agreement, although information indicates that as of last night an agreement had already been reached and the two Greek shipping companies expected that the ships would have sailed.

According to the latest information, the two Greek-flagged ships held by the Iranian authorities lifted anchor in the afternoon.

The issue concerns Greek-flagged ships Delta Poseidon, of Delta Tankers, owned by the shipowner Diamantis Diamantidis, and Prudent Warrior, owned by Spyros Polemis.
