More than 100K Israeli holiday-makers arrived in Greece in June: embassy

The Israeli embassy in Athens on Tuesday announced that more than 100,000 holiday makers from the country visited Greece last month, June 2022. The figure was posted on the embassy’s FB account, while adding that direct flights connecting the countries are also increasing.

Currently, Israel is connected with Greece with flights to Athens and Rhodes (four flights a day); one daily flight to Irakleio, Crete; three weekly flights to the Ionian Island of Corfu, Thessaloniki and Hania, Crete; two weekly flights to the islands of Zakynthos, Karpathos, Mykonos and Kos, and finally, one flight per week to Preveza, Lefkada and Kalamata.
